Guided Tours: Docents costumed in 18th century clothing provide an educational interesting exposure to life in early American days. Children are guided throughout the house and other buildings on the grounds while the docent describes life on an 18th century farm and shows the museum’s period furnishings and artifacts.
Tours can accommodate up to 40 children and last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the age of the group. The museum is available for school tours weekday mornings (afternoons by special arrangement) and for scout tours after school.
The cost is $4 for each adult and $3 for each student, with a minimum of $25. Programs must be arranged in advance by calling or emailing the museum office.
